The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - South Edmonton Common

Being on night shifts i came here for breakfast at 8pm haha. The building was very spacious, clean, well organized and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and professional. I ordered the keg burger for my main and billy miner pie for desert. 20 bucks for the burger meal and did not pay attention to desert price; i will pay any amount for an excellent desert. The billy miner pie is my favourite desert to buy when eating out. Nothing else really compares to it, taste and quantity wise. Apparently you can buy an entire billy miner pie cake for just 40 bucks!! Im sold! Will definitely be coming back!

Well the Keg is the Keg, great food, great service, prices in higher bracket but all worth it for special occasions and a special treat.

Delicious. Clean, upscale atmosphere. Great place for date night , dinner and drinks.

Phenomenal steak everytime cooked to perfection , and that complimentary bread is butter melting fresh everytime. Professional and friendly staff

Great service. Food was good. Steak and crab was delicious. Steak was done as requested. The crab came with a butter dip. But was unnecessary. Butter dip is only for lobster.

We came here for the first time for my girlfriend birthday. The service was very good from the beginning to the end. The food was good, portion was ok. They even gave my girlfriend a cake at the end for her birthday! We would probably be back, eventually.

I attended a dinner for a family member with 10 people. I have severe dietary restrictions to quantities that I can eat as well not being able to tolerate re heated food. I kindly asked the serve if I could order off the youth menu so food did not go to waste. He immediately told me no and when I asked for him to make an exception or to ask the manager for an exception he would not do it. Felt bad spending $40 on a meal I could barely eat and to watch good food go in the trash.

The keg does steak right, but the sauces they have are incredible too. A favourite date place for my wife and I. We always have good service, it can be loud at moments, but pick your times and it’s good.

I love the shrimps and the dessert. The meat was too soft and not well marinated. Kids like their food. Pretty expensive. Will only go there once in 2 years or so.

Reliable place for steak. The prime rib is always good but the bone-in ribeye is the personal favorite. Good service overall. Reservations are recommended as tables go fast and wait times for walk-ins can be up to 2 hours on weekends.

The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. We have been coming to the Keg for roughly 10 years and we have never had bad food or service. This place goes above and beyond for our family. Drinks are always full and food always hot. Love this place.

They have steak here. If you like steak you should eat here. If you do not like steak they have other food, but not as good as the steak. Many steak lovers were here at the same time. I would recommend getting a reservation if you like steak.

The keg is a great place for a meal, our family uses it for all our big occasions. Prices are higher but not unreasonable considering portion size and quality. Usually quiet enough to have conversations with your dinner party

This location is top notch. Great service, delicious food and always busy. Best to make a reservation so you don't have to wait don't an hour+

Warning; Bad reviews keep getting deleted !! My family and I have posted several bad reviews about this restaurant, and if/ when you look back they are gone!! the food is always made wrong and cold When they take the steak off your plate if it is made wrong, they put it back on the grill Sanitary right?? You MAY just have used your fork for your salad then that same fork for your steak. IF are lucky you will eat someone in my family always goes home hungry. They do NOT know how to cook a steak. Horribly ran business that does not take customers seriously . They lost and will never regain my business .

We have always had amazing food and even better service at this location...today we had a minor set back with my steak but with the best service we have ever had through out the entire meal from the wonderful Nikki and then the classy apology from not one managers but 2 took the cake! Thank you Nikki for also taking the time to be entertained by our crazy kids once it slowed down some. No doubt in our minds we would give this location a 10 star review if we could! The usual good service and high quality food. The complimentary fresh, hot sour dough loaf is always a nice touch.

Kindest staff alongside amazing food. The new york peppercorn steak with whiskey sauce is my absolute fav!

Had a Birthday dinner here for my Mom. We both really enjoyed everything. Atmosphere was comfortable, washrooms were clean, staff was very wonderful. All in all, a great dinner.

It was lovely. We went for my son's birthday. It was quiet and everyone was friendly. He and my husband had a burger and fries. I had the steak and fries were all awesome. My daughter had the chicken fingers and fries. It was delicious. Loved it!

I haven't been to the Keg in years and tonight went back to try their lobster summer. My goodness was the food ever delicious! Our server was attentive without being annoying, everything we ordered from the appetizer to desert was phenomenal and the lobster was cooked well and tender. It was the best lobster I've had. I got the lobster steak meal, and whenever I ask a place for medium rare they always either under or over cook it. My steak was absolutely perfect!! I highly recommend this keg, I was thoroughly impressed after going without any expectations.

We had a great dinner last night at The Keg. My fiance and I had a really long week and just wanted to go for a nice dinner. We called in during the rush to ask if there was a long wait, they informed that it would be about 45 minutes. This was perfect as we weren't going to be there for a little while. They added us to the wait, we walked in and only waited a couple minutes before heading to the dining room. Great steak, great wine, great service. Thanks very much.

The Keg does a steak right. I love the ambiance and decor as the restaurant is attentive to the customers experience. Our server was friendly and helpful. The steak is the thing that you come here for and I was not disappointed. I had the 12 oz New York strip loin done medium rare and it was done just right and melted in my mouth. The quality of the food is great. But in my mind I find it hard to get over the prices, I get it about the whole experience but I would only consider this restaurant for special occasions only. We came for our 31 anniversary and enjoyed our experience. From a steak standpoint it is about as good as it gets. So if you don’t mind spending $100 or more for 2 people then I recommend this restaurant.

Love their Sangria, then at $5 only in the bar area, but not same price at the dining room!

A fantastic place to gather with family and celebrate. Obviously carnivore friendly. Their steaks are delicious, cut like butter, melt in your mouth & the flavor is always on point.

The food is good, but the service is mediocre. I don't care what people say about North Edmonton. The Keg North is better. The service doesn't even compare.

Food was great. Long wait times in between drinks at the bar to getting entries to finally dinner. Lighting was not to dark and don't ask for a add on . They will forget it. Oops.

My boyfriend and I always come here for special occasions because my gramma gets me gift cards for every occasion. Food is always absolutely amazing. Steaks are always perfect. I have a dairy allergy and they are fantastic about making sure my food is clear - sending out a manger and everything. I genuinely enjoy each and every experience here. Even the one time I got a hair on my food - they replaced the food AND comped my meal.

We always have a good time at the Keg. I love the prime rib and Billy Miner Pie.

We just finished their celebration package. Well worth the money! More food than the two of us could eat! Still have sauces for the next time. The package presentation was very nice. Aman was so kind when we went to pick it up. Well done!!

Me, my husband and 3 year old son randomly ended up going here for dinner after our trip to Ikea and we had the best experience ever. The waitress was very attentive she even noticed our son trying to taste our Keg Caesars so she brought a glass of Motts Clamato juice so he could feel like he had his own, he loved this! Then a man came by our table who said he ran the kitchen and gave us a plate of celery carrots crackers and my sons favorite....orange slices, my 3 year old was on cloud 9! The food was amazing the service even more amazing would definitely recommend this Keg and give it a 10 out of 10!

I always enjoy my meals here, it's one of the chain restaurants that are consistently good . The service is good too, even when it's busy. Definitely one of my favourite steak houses .

Keg is my favourite restaurant and this location in particular did it justice!Had a date with my husband and we were sat right in front of the fireplace.The food was incredible and on point (the steaks where to our liking).Overall great experience and service.

Was there for a birthday gathering. The young man was an excellent server. This is our second time at this location. 2 members of the party were disappointed in regards to a steak dish and a fish dish. Both were not very hot. The steak was just not what I am used to seeing. Sort of dried out looking. Manager came by to resolve the issue. He was very polite and offered 2 of us a free meal. That was very nice. Generally I'm not one to complain. The manager was happy to know about the dishes. Overall still enjoyed the eveningThanks

I just wanted to give a shout out to Adam(our server). He checked on us regularly and was able to explain all of the dishes with details. He was super sweet and did an amazing job. Food was delicious. My mom had a great bday

I've been to several kegs and this is by far the best location. The staff are very polite, and accommodating, service and food is amazing! Will definitely be back.

Watching the staff here on a busy New Years eve was like seeing a well oiled machine in action. The team work is very apparent! Our meal was amazing as always and Shane N.'s service was spot on! This steak house chain has never ever let me down. I know, I know, others will say different perhaps but these guys aim to please. Great service, wonderful vibes and I just love the look and the lighting in the Keg. Ya feel warm and relaxed. The one time they messed up with my wife's order, they remade the whole plate for her and wrote it off the cheque. Very Boss of them to do that for sure.
